Pick a colour … Any Colour You Like

[A lot of this is going to sound hackneyed and childish. There is language that some might regret reading. Go away.] Whether working for two years before doing an MTech was a good idea is still somewhat an open question. Well, there are a lot of questions there, but one thing I got was perspective. [...]

Bounce bounce bounce

Home again. End-sem vacations end in less than a week. Was a much-needed break — the previous semester got very stressful towards the end. Exams were okay. Got very bored towards the end of the last, and left it a little incomplete. [shrug] Thesis topic should be finalised before the year is through. Will update [...]

The Mathematics is just killing me. The two most hated words of any school-going child rise unbidden to the mind — “apply yourself”.

Fake …

Too long. Got here (== UP) a couple of weeks ago. Getting monstrously slammed in Math, but studies are interesting, and being done far closer to right than under the aegis of the much venerated bastion of education of which I am but a chipping. Rooms are decent, food is decent (except that I’ve transferred [...]

I have such cool friends

X: Have you seen The Bridge Over River Kwai? Y: Yes. X: Which parts did you like? Y: It was generally nice. X: Did you like the part where the hero comes in? Y: Ummm…what are you talking about? X: The movie. Y: Oh, I thought you meant the actual bridge. I want, I want!
