Dear Dr. P. K. Kelkar …

There is something absurdly wonderful about being lost in a library.

Just finished The Handmaid’s Tale (Margaret Atwood). Fame well-deserved. On to Joyce’s A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (but hopefully not too soon).

I remember getting lost in my first year, I actually contemplated how I would survive at night, huddling in one of the corners, making a fire out of yesterday’s newspapers (burning books is sacrilege!). Once I got out, the first thing that came to my mind was that somewhere between the bookshelves in the library would be an excellent place to make out :D Now that I know the layout of the library however, I no longer think that is feasible :P

The survival scene is from some movie — something about an ice age hitting the planet.

The other plan is infeasible because of the layout only? :P
