Hmm..

Gregory Benford’s Matter’s End, collected in my nifty copy of The Giant Book of Fantastic SF, is a really cool story, (interestingly) set in the Kolar Mine Fields. Benford somewhat typically prototypes India in it, but what the hell — the story is worth reading.

    Believe I’ve read both before.. :) Makes some sense to me, but abstract physics beyond a point is no longer beautiful to me. Sue me.
