Go go Nettwerk Studios!

These guys rock! Their CEO, Terry McBride is the probably the most sensible thing to happen to the music industry in a while.

I wait for AI raj and the end of capitalism. Then we’ll all have music for free. I’m sure you’ve read my post. Oh, wait. I’m sure you haven’t.

    Praqmatic.

They have three artists that I’ve even heard of — Bare naked, Avril (no songs !?) and Five for fighting (1 album). It would seem like you have to download the songs individually i.e. no manager.

If it’s not intrusive, no one cares about DRM , we all only care about cost and convenience. I don’t go to filesharing networks because itunes/allofmp3 is more convenient and I prefer allofmp3 because its less costly.

Our man above thinks all music should be free, I don’t but I am a thief. And between the two of us , we represent the atitude of the majority of people and hence the DRM :).

Agree with you in that DRM is okay as long as it’s a means to control piracy and not all forms of use, paricularly fair use.

From what I could understand of what McBride says, he’s trying precisely to not overdo the content control.
