Ai saala … abhi, abhi

Watched Rang De Basanti just now. Silly movie. Bits of decent acting, often finding juvenile ways of messing with the emotions. Someone tell wasshisface Rakyesh to pull his head out of the ground already.

The music, now that’s a different story. I particularly liked the track at the beginning (where they keep going “Cruise Control!” Paathshaala), Rang De Basanti, and Roobaroo. Actually, I don’t like Roobaroo much, but that tune won’t leave my head.

Heh, it sounds like Loose Control to me… also the opinion of a certain lyrics site, apparently.

Have fun the second time :) Maybe you’ll like it better!

Thats the only problem with the song.. it grows on you.. you hum it EVERYWHERE. But yeah.. was a bit put off the way he decided to resolve the issue. Unrealistic.. after having made the first half so typically college. Oh well.. still waaaay better than other crap I’ve watched recently.

From the inlay of the tape, it turns out that it is in fact “Lose Control”. Hah. I still think Cruise Control sounds better. :)

And the title track is mindbuggeringly good.

Same here. Heard it once, didn’t like it, but can remember most of the tune :D

Atleast it was an original script. How many Hindi movies can claim that??

True. And the man did many interesting things. What irked (and irks) me is his presumptuousness (“A Generation Awakens” — give me a break), and his puerile idealism.

Well, ’5 people wake up’ hardly sounds inspiring :-)

Aargh, I can’t believe I’m arguing this, but then it’d be “Several generations awaken.”
